Central Cascades
As of February 16, 2026, current conditions for Blanca Lake are unknown. However, trip reports from November 29-30, 2025, indicate road access to the trailhead was limited, adding approximately 0.4 miles of walking. Snow was encountered around the 1-mile mark, becoming consistent and deeper (2-4 miles) by the 2-mile point. Snowshoes were not essential for the 2025 reports due to packed conditions, though some slippery sections existed. Down logs and stream crossings were minor obstacles. Blanca Lake itself was beginning to freeze over in late November 2025.
