Lena Lake
Olympic Peninsula
As of June 21, 2026, Lena Lake is snow-free and the trail is in excellent condition. Parking is very popular, with the lot frequently full by mid-morning; roadside parking is available. Trail obstacles like downed trees have been cleared by early June. Reports from May and June consistently describe the trail as dry, though rocky and rooty, requiring attention for ankle stability. Toilets at the trailhead were reported locked in late April and early May, with the composting toilet at the lake closed in late April. However, a pit toilet past the lake was functional in late April. Enjoy the beautiful lake and its surroundings.
