Mailbox Peak

Snoqualmie Region

updated 1 week ago

As of June 20, 2026, Mailbox Peak is snow-free and in great condition. The trail is clear of blowdowns, with only minor muddy sections reported occasionally. Parking can be challenging, with both upper and lower lots filling early, sometimes requiring parking along the road. Wildflowers are blooming, starting around 3,800 feet on the new trail. Hikers should be prepared for significant sun exposure above treeline. Bear activity was reported on June 20th on the new trail, so make noise and be aware. While the trail itself is clear, litter is an ongoing issue. Trekking poles are highly recommended, especially for the rocky sections near the summit.
