Margaret's Way and Debbie's View

Issaquah Alps

updated 4 days ago

As of March 22, 2026, Margaret's Way and Debbie's View are generally in good condition with manageable obstacles. Multiple down logs are reported along the trail, mostly 6-12 inches in diameter, with one at mile 2.95 being slightly larger and noted as annoying.

Parking lot status varies; it was gated and closed on February 22nd and December 27th, requiring parking on the road shoulder. However, it was reported as open and with plenty of parking on February 25th and February 6th. Toilet facilities (Honey Buckets) are generally clean and stocked when available.

Snow is minimal to non-existent in recent reports. A thin layer was noted on February 19th and light snow flurries on February 16th, but neither was reported as slippery. Muddy patches and puddles are present, particularly after rain, but easily avoidable. Views from Debbie's View are described as "so-so" or "OK" by some, with cloud cover often obscuring vistas.
