Mount Washington

Snoqualmie Region

updated 5 days ago

Mount Washington currently presents mixed conditions. While the access road is generally passable, expect a very wet and rocky trail, often resembling a creek bed, particularly beyond the Great Wall split. Snow accumulation begins around 1.4 miles, becoming deeper with soft, melting conditions nearer the summit. Microspikes are recommended, especially for descent, though some reports indicate they offer minimal benefit in the soft snow. Blowdowns are present but navigable. Parking is usually ample, though the lot can fill later in the day. Reports range from late January through March 21st, highlighting the variable snow levels and wet trail surfaces.
