Rattlesnake Ledge
Snoqualmie Region
As of March 16, 2026, Rattlesnake Ledge trail conditions are generally good but can be wet and slippery. The main parking area gate was closed, with parking available outside it and along the road.
Recent reports (February 2 to March 16) indicate packed, wet snow is present from the start of the trail, becoming sloppy in warmer conditions. Snowmelt is running down sections of the trail, and some small blowdowns may require navigation. The ledges themselves have snow that could become unstable. One report from March 2 noted saturated, hard-packed soil with a slippery, rocky section on the last switchback to the first ledge.
Trail traffic is consistently heavy, especially on sunny days and weekends. While generally well-maintained, be cautious of wet, potentially slick surfaces, particularly on the ledges. Rattlesnake Lake is full, obscuring previously exposed stumps and roots.
